Booking tuition

Before booking lessons with GermanDirect, please review this terms and conditions.
Lessons can be booked individually or in blocks, depending on your preference. A flexible pay-as-you-go booking option is also available.
If you choose to stop your tuition in free booking, without a block booking, a two weeks’ notice is required.

Late cancellation

Late cancellations can result in charges. If you are unable to attend a scheduled tuition, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
Cancellations should be made by text or email.
Tuition cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged at the hourly rate.

Online lesson and Translation

Online German tuition are normally delivered via Microsoft Teams or your preferred online platform.
Tuition in person or online typically last between 50/60mins and up to 60/120mins but is flexible to suit your learning.
Translation work can be requested alongside language tuition or independently.
Cancellations after translation work has started may incur fees for completed portions.

Travel supplement

For tuition conducted at your office or home, a travel supplement may apply. This typically applies to locations in London travel zones 3 and beyond.
The supplement covers time and costs associated with travelling to your location.
Training at your preferred destination remain flexible and convenient. Please refer to tfl.gov.uk for guidance on travel fares.
